This was a fun small project I worked on for an older client in Rhode Island, she had a fabulous collection of antique posters and I used those as the design inspiration for the spaces.  She had a sensibility for very modern design so in the main living space I focused on using classic contemporary pieces like her beloved Eames chair and ottoman and then brought in some newer pieces to keep the space feeling fresh and current.  Using pale gray as the base tone gave it a serene feeling and then bringing in pops of red in accessories and the leather and chrome chairs helped to tie in her oversized antique poster which was a focal point.
